Sean Parnell served as Governor of Alaska from 2009-2014, and as lieutenant governor and a state legislator before that. In public office, Governor Parnell was known for creating an economic climate for investment and job creation, for educational opportunities, safer communities, energy solutions, and stronger families. Besides public service, Governor Parnell has significant private sector experience across decades as an attorney and a business owner.
John served for almost six years in the Alaska Governor’s Office as the Rural Advisor for two governors. In that capacity and in his life as an Alaskan, John has traveled to hundreds of Alaskan communities and worked with community leaders around the state to meet the challenges of rural Alaska and the Bush related to infrastructure, energy, village safe water, and building local economies.
We diagnose, communicate and help resolve sensitive internal and public issues for companies and communities.
We define the problem by gathering factual information and identifying root causes. We work with our clients to develop solutions—thinking through alternative ways of tackling the problem. We evaluate costs and benefits of solutions and work with clients to pick a problem-solving approach that fits our client’s vision and circumstances. Then we develop strategies for implementing.
Through a strong network of professionals, whether from inside your organization or those we bring to the table through relationships built across decades in Alaska, we get the most experienced, competent people working together to implement strategies tailored for you and your organization.
We work with clients to identify paths to opportunity, problem-solving, and growth.
We are executive leadership and public policy consultants for businesses, local governments and nonprofits.
In the public sector, we accept local governments as clients, including boroughs, cities and tribal entities.
